2. How We Use Your Data
We use the collected data for various purposes:
- Resume History & Versioning (Core Feature): We store your resume files and structured data via Supabase to allow you to access, edit, version, and download your resumes across devices.
- AI Analysis & Refactoring: To process your resume content and provide intelligent career suggestions, ATS-optimization, and interview preparation via Google Gemini AI.
- Conversation-based Resume Building: To facilitate multi-turn "Chat with AI" sessions that generate resumes based on your inputs.
- Subscription & Credit Management: To process in-app credit refills, manage permanent premium status, and verify transactions via RevenueCat.
- Subscription & Credit Management: To process in-app credit refills, manage recurring monthly subscriptions (including the 65-credit "bucket" reset logic where unused credits do not roll over), and verify transactions via RevenueCat and Supabase.
- Authentication: To secure your account via Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In.
- App Performance: To monitor system performance, fix bugs, and log critical errors via Supabase edge functions.
- Advertisements: Using Google AdMob to provide free features, including the use of identifiers (IDFA/AAID) where permitted.
3. Third-Party Service Providers
We employ third-party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service. These providers have access to your data only to perform specific tasks on our behalf:
- Supabase: Secure authentication, PostgreSQL database, cloud storage, and edge functions.
- RevenueCat: Credit bundle processing, permanent premium status logic, and purchase verification.
- Google AdMob: Advertising services and consent management (GDPR/CCPA compliant).
- Google Gemini AI: AI processing of resume text, chat messages, and interview prep. Data is accessed via secure API and NOT used to train Google's public models.
- Google & Apple: Primary authentication providers for secure sign-in.
4. Data Retention & Deletion
- Retention: We retain your Personal Data for as long as your account is active. Resume history and chat logs are stored until you delete specific items or your entire profile.
- Account Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data at any time through the "Delete Account" button in the app settings. Once confirmed, all your resume history, personal details, and chat records are immediately and permanently removed from our production databases. This action is non-reversible.
5. Your Data Protection Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
- The right to access, update, or delete the information we have on you.
- The right of rectification.
- The right to object or restrict processing.
- The right to data portability.
6. Children's Privacy
